Kevin Kilbane reports West Ham fans for 'disgusting' Harry Kane chant

Chant “insults everyone who has a disability along with their families,” Kilbane said.

KEVIN KILBANE HAS reported West Ham United fans to the FA for a “disgusting and highly offensive” chant which is insulting towards people with intellectual disabilities.

The former Republic of Ireland international was outraged by fans chanting that Spurs striker Harry Kane “talks like a mong” during Sunday’s 2-2 draw at White Hart Lane.

Kilbane’s daughter Elsie has Down’s Syndrome, and he is a patron of Down Syndrome Ireland and the Down Syndrome Association.

“It insults everyone who has a disability along with their families,” he tweeted after speaking with the FA on Monday.

“It’s a disgraceful chant. Like racist or homophobic.”

West Ham were caught up in a separate controversy on Sunday when footage appeared allegedly showing fans on the London Underground singing anti-Semitic chants. Spurs have historic ties to the Jewish community.

It looks like the 2022 World Cup final will be played two days before Christmas
