THE THREE-PEAT IS still on.
After a stunning 117-92 win over the Indiana Pacers on Friday night, the two-time defending champion Miami Heat became the first team to reach four straight NBA finals since the Boston Celtics in 1987.
Key for the Heat were the performances of LeBron James and Chris Bosh. James had 25 points, six assists and four rebounds while Bosh finished with 25 points and eight assists.
Though Paul George rattled in 29 points for the Pacers, it was far from enough to stop Miami eliminating Indiana from the playoffs for the third straight year.
They will now play either San Antonio Spurs or Oklahoma City Thunder in game one of the NBA Finals on Thursday.
