Here's the GAA-themed selfie campaign hoping to raise funds for the Alan Kerins Projects

Armagh great Steven McDonnell has come up with a brilliant fundraising idea.

THE ALAN KERINS Projects continues to do amazing charity work for children in Africa.

The former Galway dual player recruited Armagh football great Steven McDonnell to journey to Zambia with him last May in his latest venture to promote the good work they are doing.

And now McDonnell has launched a GAA-themed selfie campaign to raise more funds for the Alan Kerins Projects.

People are being encouraged to take a selfie of themselves wearing a county or club jersey, and then donate to the charity by texting ‘SELFIE’ to 50300. Each person then nominates five friends to don club or county colours.
