AFTER TODAY’S TWO All-Ireland SFC Super 8 finales, the picture is much clearer for next weekend’s semi-final fixtures.
On Saturday, reigning champions Dublin will face Connacht holders Galway in Croke Park and that game will throw in at 5pm.
This comes as a result of their loss to Monaghan at Pearse Stadium earlier this evening, as the Farney county booked their place in the last four for the first time since 1988.
Malachy O’Rourke’s men will contest an all-Ulster affair next Sunday at HQ (throw-in 3.30pm) when they meet either Donegal or Tyrone depending on the outcome of their final round Super 8s clash tomorrow.
Saturday’s curtain raiser will be Meath and Galway’s All-Ireland minor championship semi-final (throw-in 3pm, live on TG4) while on Sunday the other side of the draw sees Kerry and Monaghan lock horns on the big stage, making it an exciting day for Monaghan fans.
