AS YOU’VE PROBABLY noticed — because we’re behaving like proud parents all of a sudden — we’ve published our first book.
It’s been an exciting few days in The42 HQ since we opened up the first box of freshly-printed copies of Behind The Lines, an anthology of some of our favourite Irish sports stories published on the site in 2017.
We’ve been busy getting the first orders out to those of you who ordered directly from us (thank you!), as well as getting stock out to Eason’s and lots more great bookshops so that they can fill their shelves.
Now it’s time for a little celebration and we’d like to invite you, our readers and commenters, to join us.
The Behind The Lines launch event takes place in Eason’s, O’Connell Street, Dublin this Thursday, 23 November, at 6.30pm.
Come along to chat with The42 team as we explain the stories behind the stories which feature in Behind The Lines, ask us your questions, enjoy a couple of refreshments with us and, of course, pick up your copy of the book.
The event is free but as numbers are limited, it would be great if you could RSVP here to let us know that you and your friends will be coming.
