Are you part of Ireland's WORST sports team? We're going to turn you into champions*

*Or, at least, we’re going to provide you with expert coaching and analysis ahead of the Cadbury #BoostYourAwareness Touch Rugby Blitz.

ARE YOU PART of a team that makes the Renford Rejects look good? Have you ever been on the wrong side of a loss so bad you like to pretend it never happened? Are your training sessions more confusing than Shane Byrne’s hair?

If the answer to any of those questions is yes, then we’ve got just the prize for you.

We want to take your team — whether it’s a hurling team or you’re part of a five-a-side league — and make you great at touch rugby.

If you’ve played touch rugby before, great. If not, don’t worry.

We will provide you with a coaching session from one of Ireland’s best rugby brains, conduct an in-depth video analysis of what you’re doing well and where you can improve, and give you access to fitness and nutrition experts.

Not only that, but we’ll kit you out in the finest The42 rugby gear that money just can’t buy.

And we’re doing all of this over the next month to put you in contention to win the Cadbury #BoostYourAwareness Touch Rugby Blitz on Friday, 19 May at Lansdowne Rugby Club.

All you have to do to enter* is tell us why yours is the worst sports team in Ireland in the comments section below and we’ll pick our favourite story or just email sport@the42.ie instead.

So over to you!

*Now for the small print: The full laws of touch rugby are available here but it is recommended that your team consists of 10-12 people. Matches are six-a-side and women must make up half of each team. You must also be available for your training session to be filmed at some date between Thursday 20 April and Monday 1 May and, of course, be able to play on 19 May.

Cadbury Boost are proud sponsors of Irish rugby. All proceeds from the Cadbury #BoostYourAwareness Touch Rugby Blitz on Friday, 19 May at Lansdowne Rugby Club go to Aware.
