TEAM SKY’S NEW jersey design is taking a roasting after star rider Chris Froome suffered severe sunburn in training.
Froome’s fiancée Michelle Cound posted this picture of the 2013 Tour de France champion on Twitter, captioned “The danger with wearing mesh jerseys.”
Sky unveiled the new lightweight skin suit, designed to tie in with their “marginal gains” philosophy, late last year.
The suncream, it appears, is sold separately.
