THE CLUB HURLING spotlight falls on Clare and Waterford this weekend as county senior hurling final places are on the line in both counties.
Ten of the Clare players – Domhnall O’Donovan, Cian Dillon, Colm Galvin, Conor Ryan, John Conlon, Podge Collins, Conor McGrath, Cathal McInerney, Nicky O’Connell, Darach Honan – that featured in last September’s All-Ireland senior hurling final replay win will be in action during the weekend as Crusheen, Clonlara, Cratloe and Clarecastle compete.
In Waterford, it’s De La Salle, Mount Sion, Ballygunner and Dungarvan who will battle it out for final places. There’s also hurling action this weekend in Limerick, Wexford and Laois.
