AFTER HIS ELEVEN point haul in the minor All-Ireland final against Clare, Cormac Spain of Ballygunner and Waterford has been named the Electric Ireland minor star hurling player of the year.
The Deise emerged victorious on a 1-18 to 0-11 scoreline in the decider and no fewer than five players are included in the minor hurling team of the year, again sponsored by Electric Ireland.
