Derry City’s players livened things up by taking on the crossbar challenge with varying degrees of success.
We won’t spoil the fun by telling you who made it and who didn’t but we have to draw your attention to Thomas McMonagle’s “attempt”.
First he tries to gain a sneaky few yards with the casual-roll-the-ball-over-the-line trick before he gets called out on it by his team-mates.
Then, clearly rattled, he shanks his shot appallingly wide:
