Limerick, Cork and Clare schools successful in today's Dr Harty Cup group stage action

Victories for last year’s semi-finalists SNTN Doon, Rochestown College and Hamilton HS Bandon.

THREE SCHOOLS FROM Limerick and Cork won games in the Dr Harty Cup today along with Clare representative St Caimin’s (Shannon).

Last year’s beaten finalists Scoil Na Trionoide Naofa Doon ran out seven point winners over De La Salle Waterford in Clonmel.

Other Limerick schools to triumph included West Limerick Colleges by 17 points against St Flannan’s in Sixmilebridge while Castletroy had a single point to spare over Gaelcolaiste Mhuire AG in Charleville.

Cork schools Hamilton HS Bandon and Rochestown College both reached the semi-final stage last year and both claimed victories today. Hamilton HS enjoyed a six-point win against HS Clonmel in Fermoy while Rochestown had an eight-point success over PS Youghal in Ardmore.

Elsewhere Midleton CBS claimed a seven-point victory over Dungarvan CBS in Ardmore while St Caimin’s had a nine-point win over Our Lady’s Templemore in Nenagh.
