ST VINCENT’S WERE crowned Dublin senior football champions tonight in the final replay against Ballymun Kickhams at Parnell Park. There were red cards, goals and a gripping game between the rivals, but they nearly had the show stolen from them by two young stars who put on quite the half-time show.
It all began innocuously as the two youngsters enjoyed being in the limelight with a football at their feet, but a sudden push spiced things up and got the crowd involved. On a night when the main event itself was extremely nerve-racking, this half time show eased the tension for a couple of minutes at least.
