Dub stars back to club action with dates decided for 8 SFC second round games

The games have been pencilled in for September 17th, 19th and 20th.

DUBLIN’S FOOTBALL STARS are to return to club action in the wake of Sunday’s los sto Donegal with the dates having been decided for the eight senior football championship second round games.

There will be three matches on Wednesday September 17th with Kevin McMananmon, Cormac Costello and Diarmuid Connolly all set to be in action for their clubs.

On Friday September 19th, Eoghan O’Gara and Denis Bastick will play for a Templeogue Synge Street team that takes on Jonny Cooper and Tomas Brady’s Na Fianna side.

Finally the four games on Saturday September 20th will feature Alan and Bernard Brogan, Philly McMahon, James McCarthy, Sean Currie, Dean Rock, Darren Daly, Paddy Andrews, Bryan Cullen, Michael Darragh MacAuley and Nicky Devereux.

The Dublin senior football champions this year will take on either the Wexford or Laois champions at the quarter-final stage of the AIB Leinster club SFC on November 9th.
