Éamonn Fitzmaurice joined 10 other GAA greats in a special group yesterday

The Kerry boss now has All-Ireland senior titles to his name as a player and a manager.

KERRY’S TRIUMPH YESTERDAY in Croke Park ensured that Éamonn Fitzmaurice joins a special group of GAA greats.

Fitzmaurice won an All-Ireland senior football title with his county as a manager to add to those he claimed as a player. He joins giants of the game who have also won both accolades as a manager and player.

1. Kevin Heffernan (Dublin)

Player: 1958 - Manager: 1974, 1976 and 1983.
