As Wexford's Eoin Quigley retires, remember his amazing point in 2005 against Kilkenny?

Some tekkers there Ger.

WEXFORD HURLER EOIN Quigley has brought the curtain down on his inter-county career

A member of the 2004 Leinster senior hurling title winning side, Quigley was in action for the Model County up until last summer.

That provincial medal from ten years ago stands out as a highlight in his career but we think this amazing point in the 2005 Leinster decider is worth recalling as well.

Wexford lost the final to Kilkenny by 0-22 to 1-16 but Quigley hit the score of the game with his stunning first-half point.

And spare a thought for Wexford teammate Eanna Martin, who is now without a travelling companion for county training and matches.
