5 exercises to help lower your golf handicap

Target these muscle groups to help you gain yards off the tee.

We’ve consulted with a wide range of golfers to put together a quick workout to target the relevant muscles groups.

The glute muscles are where the majority of the power comes from in a golf swing. The faster we can engage this muscle group than the further the ball will travel off the tee.

A good tradesman doesn’t blame his tools and either should you, so forget the latest driver, golf ball or any other gimmick devised by the golf manufacturers.

Follow these 5 exercises and watch the ball go further down the fairway.
