Good afternoon GAA ladies and GAA gentlemen.

We’ve got a jam-packed fixture list of club action to get through this afternoon, so make sure you’re sitting comfortably, grab a hydrating beverage, some salty snack and keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times. This could get a little bumpy…

As you’ll no doubt notice from the fixtures above, some of our games have already thrown in, so we’re playing a little bit of catchup with the Limerick SHC semi-final

It’s currently.

Doon 0 – 6 Kilmallock 0 – 5

Paudie O’Brien levelled the scores in the 18th minute of that game before Niall Maher hit back for Doon.

In Cavan, Ballinagh and Kingscourt are already under way and it’s a point apiece in the early stages of that one.

Here are the teams

In the home of the champions, Laune Rangers are trailing mid-Kerry by a sizeable early gap after Gavin O’Grady converted a fifth minute penalty.

Donnacha Walsh and Darran O’Sullivan in flying form for Mid Kerry.

Mid Kerry 1  - 6 Laune Rangers 0 – 2

Approaching half-time in the Limerick SHC and it’s dead even.

Doon 0 – 9 Kilmallock 0 – 9

Approaching half-time in all the spm throw-ins now and in Laois SFC it’s currently:

Arles Killeen 0-7, Graiguecullen 0-1

HALF-TIME in the Limerick SHC semi-final and Kilmallock have just about edged a first half with 19 hard-earned points.

HT: Kilmallock 0-10 Doon 0-9

The early burst from Mid Kerry in the SFC in the Kingdom has been quelled by Laune Rangers and they have notched four points in succession.

But Gary Sayers got Mid Kerry’s scoreboard ticking again after 23 minutes.

Mid Kerry 1 – 7 Laune Rangers 0 -8

They’re up and running the Meath SFC semi-final After 10 minutes the score reads

Navan O’Mahony’s 0 – 3 Wolfe Tones 0 – 0

The throw-ins coming thick and fast now, so we got to Cork where Ballincollig have claimed an early advantage.

Ballincollig 0-1 Nemo Rangers 0-0

Back across the mountains, it’s half-time in Fitzgerald Stadium and things are hotting up with Laune Rangers creeping back into the game with the legendary Mike Frank Russell among the scorers

HT: Mid Kerry 1 – 9 Laune Rangers 0  - 8

Meanwhile, in Newry…

Seamus McNulty before the game Presseye / Russell Pritchard/INPHO Presseye / Russell Pritchard/INPHO / Russell Pritchard/INPHO

TWO GOALS! Ballincollig’s Cian Dorgan rubber stamps their early advantage in the Cork SFC and just a minute late John Kelly raised a second green flag.

10 mins: Ballincollig 2 – 2 Nemo Rangers 0 – 1

No such leeway in Meath, with over 10 minutes to go in the first half Wolfe Tones are locked together.

Navan O’Mahony’s  0 – 4 Wolfe Tones 0 – 4

The second half is off and running in the intensity of the Limerick hurling championship. and Doon have edged clear.

Doon 0 – 12 Kilmallock 0 – 11

A brilliant penalty save denied Cathal McNamara extending that lead after Darragh O’Donovan was tripped on his way to goal.

If it’s Dublin football you’re into, we’ve got some of that too:

St Judes have streaked into a SFC quarter-final lead over St Brigids, Kevin McManamon with two points in these first 12 minutes

St Judes 0 – 5 St Brigid’s 0 – 0

They’re level again in LImerick, Jake Mulcahy bringing up the dozen for Kilmallock in the 42nd minute.

Doon 0 – 12 Kilmallock 0 -12

McManamon has his eye in today, the county forward add his third point of the day with his left boot as Judes open up a full six-point lead in the 16th minute.

St Jude’s 0 – 6 St Brigid’s 0 – 0

Half-time in the Royal County semi-final

HT: Wolfe Tones: 0 – 6 Navan O’Mahony’s  0 – 5

What’s that? You can’t get enough of the Cavan SFC? Us neither, because the Kingscourt Stars are holding Ballinagh at arm’s length.  10 minutes gone in the second half of this semi-final

Kingscourt 0 – 8 Ballinagh 0 – 6

While we await the first score in the second half in Fitzgerald Stadium, we bring you good news if you’re a Nemo Rangers fan…. they’re off the mark.

25 minutes gone and it’s Ballincollig 2 – 4 Nemo Rangers 0 – 3

It’s still a terrific contest in Limerick and you’d need a cigarette paper to separate Doon and Kilmallock as they are going blow for blow.

55 mins: Kilmallock 0 – 15 Doon 0 – 15

HALF-TIME in Cork  and Ballincollig’s early quick-fire goals are making all the difference.

Ballincollig 2 – 4 Nemo Rangers 0 – 4

Probably haven’t had a chance to say this often down the years, but Mike Frank’s shooting has been wayward today. MFR missed a second half penalty for Laune Rangers and has also missed a 45 as they try to claw back Mid Kerry’s lead

Mid Kerry 1 – 8 Laune Rangers 0 – 8

As you might expect, there’s serious drama in Limerick now as Eoin Ryan shapes to take a free in added time. The sides are still locked together on 16 points apiece.

My bad, that Ryan free was to level the game at 16 apiece. Robbie Hanley has now edged Kilmallock ahead. Hold tight, there can only be seconds left in this Limerick SHC semi.

Now Ryan has another free and he has nailed it. Kilmallock lead by two precious points after 63 minutes.

This must be the last play of the game. Doon have a 24 metre free and blast for goal.

IT’S SAVED! Kilmallock win a thrilling edge-of-the-seat Limerick SHC semi-final:

FULL-TIME: Kilmallock – 18 Doon 0 – 16

Back to Kerry now and there has been a goal at either end as Laune see the risk and benefit of piling forward. They converted a penalty at the second time of asking, Ryan Keane raising the flag. But at the other end, Mid Kerry cancelled the vital score out with time fast running out.

Mid Kerry 2 – 11 Laune Rangers 1 – 8

Here’s a taster of what’s coming up a little bit later

Into the second half now in the Dublin SFC and Brigid’s are no closer to St Judes than when we left off.

St Jude’s 1 – 7 St Brigid’s 0 -1

FULL-TIME: Mid Kerry 2 – 14 Laune Rangers 1- 9

Mid Kerry take their place in the county SFC semi-finals.

No, we haven’t forgooten about you, Laois SFC semi-final fans.

Arles Killeen 0-12, Graiguecullen 0-9

St Judes are running riot now against Brigid’s in the second half in the Dublin SFC. Kevin McMenamon gets a goal to his tally.

St Jude’s 3  - 7 St Brigid’s 0 -3

They’re deep in the melting pot of the Meath SFC semi-final and O’Mahony’s have clawed their way back into the lead having trailed Wolfe Tones a little earlier. With 50 minutes gone, the score is

Navan O’Mahony’s 0 – 10 Wolfe Tones 0 – 9

In the Offaly SHC semi-final, they’re deep in the second half and Rynagh’s look likely to take their place in the final

St Rynaghs 1-13 Clareen 1-5

GOAL: You just got the sense that Navan O’Mahony’s were turning the screw approaching the final 10 minutes of their Meath SFC semi and they have a goal to prove it now. With 5 minutes to go, they are in full control now.

Navan O’Mahony’s 1 – 12 Wolfe Tones 0 – 9

They’re just throwing in in the second Kerry Championship game of the day and Kieran Donaghy is lining up in midfield. What do ya think of that Joe Brolly?

Austin Stacks 0 – 0 West Kerry 0 – 0

Less than 10 minutes to go in the Cork SFC semi-final and Nemo Rangers still need a goal to make this an interesting finale

Ballincollig 2-6 Nemo Rangers 0-7

If you can handle more Limerick hurling, the second semi-final has thrown in and Ahane have the early advantage thanks to points from Tom Morrissey and Killian Enright.

Ahane 0 – 3 Na Piarsaigh 0 -1

That Clare SHC final is going Cratloe’s way in the opening stages, Sean Collins firing over their third score in 11 minutes.

Cratloe 0 – 3 Crusheen 0 – 0

FULL-TIME: Ballincollig 2 – 10 Nemo Rangers 0 – 9

Ballincollig led that Cork SFC semi-final wire to wire and take their place in the final with relative ease.

Apologies for the delay on this one, we were wrapped up with matters at the Gaelic Grounds, but in Cavan it is the Stars of Kingscourt who take their place in the county final by the most slender of margins.

FULL-TIME: Kingscourt 0- 11 Ballinagh 0- 10

GOAL! Speaking of the Gaelic Ground, Shane Dowling has got Na Piarsaigh’s up and running in the second Limerick SHC semi-final Pat Gleeson and Adrian Breen keep the momentum rolling to turn the game on its head after 20 minutes

Na Piarsaigh 1 – 7 Ahane 0 – 5

It’s all over in the Dublin SFC 1/4 final, but in truth it’s been over for some time for St Brigid’s.

FULL-TIME: St Jude’s 3 – 11 St Brigid’s 0 – 12

Here’s hoping Ballyboden St Enda’s v Lucan Sarsfields will be more competitive. They’re under way in that second game in O’Toole Park.

Last time we brought you to Midd Tipp we said you had missed nothing, now…

GOAL! Seamus Callanan gives Drom-Inch plenty of breathing space after 10 minutes.

Drom-Inch 1 – 4 Upperchurch-Drombane 0 – 0

In South Tipp, there looks to be no stopping Mullinahone. Deep into the second half there.

Killenaule 0-6 Mullinahone 2-9

10 minutes gone in the second Offaly SHC semi-final

Coolderry 0-02 Kilcormac/Killoughey 0-03

A reminder that the first semi ended in a whopping

St Rynagh’s 1 – 17  2 – 7 Seir Kieran.

As the second half throws in in Limerick, the Down SFC final is off and running and it’s Kilcoo with the opener through Paul Devlin.
