This might be the finest fisted point we've ever seen

Fair play to Thomas O’Kane.

FISTED POINTS IN Gaelic football tend to be a little boring.

A player gets too close to goal to kick the ball so slots it over the bar with relative ease.

This fisted effort, however, from Thomas O’Kane of St. Mary’s, Maherafelt against St. Louis, Ballymena in a challenge match, is the most spectacular we’ve seen in a long time.

According to Michael McMullen who made the video:

“Thomas scored the point in a challenge game between the two teams at All Saints’ GAA grounds in Ballymena, I just happened to capture it by chance.

“Thomas plays for Roger Casements Portglenone and, who knows, he could be the next Stephanie Roche”
