The 30-yarder was O’Neill’s first for Drogheda United since his diagnosis with testicular cancer last September. Following successful surgery, he was cleared to play again and signed a new player-coach contract with Drogs.
“It was pure class,” manager Robbie Horgan said, “and what a way to mark his return to the game.”
