THE VICTORIOUS DUBLIN All-Ireland-winning team will be parading the Sam Maguire on O’Connell Street tonight.
The event starts at 7.15pm and will have three access points – O’Connell Street Lower (from O’Connell Bridge), from the west via Middle Abbey, and from the east via Lower Abbey Street.
The event to celebrate the team’s achievement on Sunday of beating Kerry in the final to lift their third All-Ireland SFC in five years will be hosted by Lord Mayor Críona Ní Dhálaigh and Dublin City Council, with a stage beside the Spire to be erected for the celebrations.
O’Connell Street Upper and side streets off O’Connell street will closed from 6pm this evening as a result.
