Here's our favourite 11 Super Bowl ads of all time...

As well as the on-field action, the adverts are a staple of America’s biggest sporting night. We rewind the Sky Box on the best 11.

IT’S NOT ALL about the football, y’know?

There’s the pre-game, post-game, half-time show.. and the ads to enjoy during the Super Bowl. Here’s some of the most memorable.

11. Coca-Cola, Mean Joe Greene (1979)

A heart-warming ad in which a young fan offers a drink to a weary-looking Pittsburgh Steeler ‘Mean’ Joe Greene, only for him to down it in one go.

In return, Joe tosses the kid his game worn shirt. Touching.

6. Fed-Ex Castaway (2003)

This fantastic parody of the film Castaway, in which Tom Hanks returns a package he found while stranded on an island. But guess what’s inside.

4. Budweiser, 9/11 Tribute (2002)

A truly stunning ad, where the trademark Clydesdale horses make their way to where the 9/11 towers once stood, before bowing their heads to honour those who had passed in the disaster. Superb from Budweiser.

3. Doritos, House Rules (2010)

This was one of the favourites; a son lays down the law with his momma’s date.

2. Budweiser, Wassup (2000)

Everyone was shouting ‘Wassssup’ after this one, and when your idea becomes a phenomenon repeated by millions you know you’ve done a good job.
