ULSTER RECALL TOM Court, Chris Henry and Paddy Wallace are all named in the starting XV for the trip to Italy to play Aironi Rugby.

Rory Best and Stephen Ferris are both rested but Court, Henry and Wallace all return after touring with Ireland.

Nigel Brady plays hooker with Court and Robbie Diack on either side- with Bryan Young and Andy Kyriacou on the bench. Paddy Wallace plays alongside Darren Cave in the centre as Ian Whitten drops to the bench.

Pedrie Wannenburg switches from blind-side flanker to number eight to make up for the absence of Ferris with Chris Henry playing openside. The Northerners are otherwise unchanged from the side which beat Ospreys last week by one point.

Out-half Niall O’Connor was wary of the threat posed by Aironi- who lost to Munster last week, when speaking on the club website.

“It’s certainly going to be a tough game, they have a hugely physical pack, they have a big midfield and of course Mercier at 10 has been around a long time and has a wealth of experience from the Premiership. We are under no illusions, we’re expecting a very tough game but hopefully we can go there and get the job done.”
