Kevin Ware holds Louisville's Final Four trophy following two-hour surgery on broken leg

The operation was deemed to be successful.

KEVIN WARE UNDERWENT successful, two-hour surgery to repair his broken leg last night.

The Louisville team went to visit him in an Indianapolis hospital. Senior guard Peyton Siva posted this photo of Ware with the regional championship trophy on Instagram around midnight (via Deadspin).

Ware is expected to play again, but there is no timetable on his recovery, doctors told the Louisville Courier:
