IT WILL BE quite some time before Kevin Ware is able to lace up his sneakers and play basketball again but Louisville’s injured star returned to the court last night in an emotional finish to this year’s “March Madness”.

Ware, 20, made headlines last week when footage of his horror leg break in the Elite Eight round spread around the world.

In his absence Louisville battled on and last night won the NCAA Championship game, beating Michigan 82-76 in Atlanta.

And as the party started, Ware was given the post-game honour of cutting down the net as a souvenir.
