Man City release 'electric' third kit while Barca opt for bright yellow

Both clubs will wear the new strips for the first time in the Champions League this month.

AHEAD OF WEDNESDAY’S Champions League clash with Bayern Munich, Manchester City have unveiled their new third strip.

Nike are calling the latest kit, which is purple with a yellow trim, ‘electic’ and which they will wear it in cup competitions this season.

Meanwhile, Barcelona have also released a similar new jersey today. Two shades of yellow with a hint of blue, the Catalan giants plan to debut it against Paris Saint-Germain on 30 September.
