RTÉ BROADCASTER MARTY MORRISSEY finally got around to doing the ice bucket challenge today though it looks like he got more than he bargained for.
Helped by Ciaran Whelan and Mark McHugh and dressed in a Clare jersey, Morrissey had a bin full of ice dumped over him, much to the delight of the Croke Park crowd.
The ice bucket challenge has so far raised more than €1million for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.
He wasn’t the only RTÉ star to get soaked today though as The Sunday Game panel of Colm O’Rourke, Joe Brolly and Pat Spillane also followed through on their promise to take part, Kieran McGeeney doing the honours.
