The latest All-Ireland final song features a man waking up on a bed of turf

CHRIS DUFFY AND Dave Gallagher have released the latest All-Ireland final song and while we’re still waiting for this year’s ‘Jimmy’s Winning Matches’ this is a pretty good effort.

It starts with a man waking up on a bed of turn, features tooth brushing in a stream and hopes of an Aidan O’Shea haircut. We’re not sure if this represents an accurate depiction of a day in the life of your average Mayo person though.

In fairness to Chris and Dave, it’s one of the better songs we’ve heard and the video is pretty slick. Tha said, will it actually help Mayo win back the Sam Maguire?
