WE’RE A COUPLE of days late to this but it’s so mind-bogglingly weird that we couldn’t let it pass without comment.
Apparently the Allen Americans, an ice hockey team in the Central Hockey League, hosted a “McDonald’s night” earlier this month to raise money for local charities.
As part of the night the ultimate motivational speaker, Ronald McDonald, delivered the pre-game pep talk to the team.
Not only that but if you listen closely you’ll notice that Big Ron Manager’s words sound a little bit familiar. That’s because it’s Kurt Russell’s famous speech from Miracle, the Disney film about the 1980 Miracle on Ice.
Weird.
