Marching orders

POLL: Do you think Fernando Torres should have walked?

The Spaniard received a harsh second yellow in the defeat to Manchester United on Sunday, but could have been sent off earlier in the game.

THE CHELSEA STRIKER was given his marching orders from referee Mark Clattenburg, despite the fact that Jonny Evans admitted making slight contact with Torres on his way through to goal.

The Spaniard had received his first booking for a dangerously high tackle on Tom Cleverley at the end of the first half.

We’re wondering if you think Torres should have seen red, given the contact with Evans but the fact that his challenge on Cleverley was excessive.

Poll Results:

No way, the ref ruined the game (536)
He deserved to go (208)
