THERE ARE LOTS of things Arsenal players can’t change about themselves.
Olivier Giroud can’t help being gorgeous:
Santi Cazorla can’t help being short:
While Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain can’t help that he looks like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle:
But the one thing they hope to change is to kick homophobia out of football.
With that in mind, Arsenal, Stonewall, the Gay Football Supporters’ Network and Paddy Power are all partnering to promote the ‘Rainbow Laces’ weekend on September 13-14.
A pair of the special laces will be sent to every professional footballer in the UK that weekend to raise awareness of homophobia and promote more tolerance in the sport.
