ROBBIE BRADY RETURNED to action last night but Norwich City slipped off the top of the Championship table as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Fulham.
Brady was hospitalised with a nasty head injury following Ireland’s World Cup qualifier win over Georgia and missed the trip to Moldova three days later.
He also sat out Saturday’s 3-1 win over Rotherham, a game in which Wes Hoolahan scored for the Canaries, but was passed fit to start at Craven Cottage last night and played 85 minutes.
Norwich led 2-0 at the break thanks to two first-half penalties by Graham Dorrans but were pegged back in the second half as Stefan Johansen and Chris Martin scored to earn Fulham a point.
Newcastle moved to the top of the table with a 2-0 win at Barnsley.
Ireland’s next qualifier is against Austria in Vienna on 12 November.
