VINE: Rory McIlroy nearly took out Adam Scott with a wayward tee-shot

The defending champion just avoided the Northern Irishman’s wild tee-shot.

RORY MCILROY HAS endured an up-and-down start to his second round at the Masters but his tee-shot on par-3 fourth was by far his worst shot of the day, almost hitting defending champion Adam Scott.

It’s one way to deal with the competition but it’s not like McIlroy meant to take out the Australian.

The former world number one, however, still had to take an unplayable and tee-up again.
