So this is how letters are addressed to Shane O'Donnell these days

Here’s proof of how famous the Banner hurler has become.

CLARE HURLER SHANE O’Donnell has seen his profile sky-rocket in the wake of last September’s All-Ireland hurling triumph.

That tends to happen when you bag a hat-trick on the biggest day of the hurling year after being drafted into the starting side hours just before throw-in.

And here’s the proof of his new fame.

There’s no need to know his address. Simply labelling him as ‘Clare hurler’ will suffice in ensuring An Post deliver to him.

Of course he’s not the first Clare hurler to get addressed in such a fashion as teammate Domhnall O’Donovan illustrated back in October.
