Thumbs up! Stephen Ferris will be back playing rugby soon

… but not a moment too soon judging by Ireland’s dismal tour of New Zealand.

ULSTER AND IRELAND flanker Stephen Ferris got the thumbs up today following a minor operation on his left hand.

Ferris tweeted a picture of a rather tasty scar with the caption “Cast off today” this afternoon, so we’re guessing he’ll be back to his imposing best before too long.
