Toronto Sun has a good ol' gloat about Boston losing Stanley Cup

Bitter? Toronto? Never.

HOW ABOUT THIS for a delicious dollop of Tuesday morning Schadenfreude?

In case you missed it the Chicago Blackhawks clinched the Stanley Cup in thrilling fashion last night, scoring two goals in the space of 17 seconds to complete a remarkable comeback against the Boston Bruins.

Feel for Boston? The Toronto Sun didn’t and instead ran with this smug, gloating front page today.

For context you should know that it was the Bruins who knocked the Toronto Maple Leafs out of this year’s play-offs in similarly dramatic fashion, scoring two late goals to force the winner-takes-all Game 7 into overtime before Patrice Bergeron sent the Leafs packing.

Toronto aren’t bitter or anything though. Oh no.
