IN A BIZAARE scene last night, a lightning bolt struck close enough to a game at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, Texas, that both teams were visibly jolted and many players, coaches, and umpires went scurrying for cover.
It occurred during the fourth inning of a game between the Texas Rangers and Minnesota Twins. And in this day and age, one has to wonder if the teams were worried that something more nefarious was going down.
