HURLING AND FOOTBALL are set to get big screen adaptations with this year’s All-Ireland senior finals to be screened by ODEON cinemas.
Free tickets to watch the clashes in cinematic form are available now to collect online at GAA.tickets.ie or at an ODEON Cinema box-office on the day of the event game, with screens open from 3pm.
The hurling final this Sunday sees Kilkenny face Galway with the football decider on 20 September will see Kerry meeting Dublin or Mayo.
The cinematic offering may be some small consolation to those fans that miss out in the ticket scramble for Croke Park on both days.
There are ten ODEON cinemas involved in screening the games although they may not suit fans of the competing hurling counties with the closest cinema for Galway fans being 113km away in Limerick and for Kilkenny fans being 52km away in Waterford.
