THERE’S NOT A HUGE amount to know about Knox College, Lawrence University or 15-year old wide receiver Ilir Emini.
We do understand that Knox play in the NCAA’s Division III Midwest Conference — think junior hurling/football — and that their rivalry with Monmouth College is the sixth-longest running college football rivalry in the sport.
However, all you really need to know is that Emini made a catch for the ages this weekend.
Running down the field with a Lawrence defender in close proximity, the receiver seemed to lose sight of the throw from his quarterback.
Undeterred, Emini evaded his defender by tipping the ball, kicking it to himself, falling backward onto the field and making the catch.
