23 Apr 2017 We’re back underway for the second half at Turf Moor.

And that’s a wrap.

Goals from Martial and Rooney earn a 2-0 win for United. Burnley now just five points clear of the drop zone.

Thanks for stopping by today folks.

We’re well into injury time and United have done what they came to do.

SAVE!

Heaton gets his finger tips to a Paul Pogba strike from distance. The goalkeeper has been in excellent form today.

United still in control as we head towards added time.

Gary Neville has selected Anthony Martial as his man-of-the-match for today.

Yellow card for Wayne Rooney. Slight blemish on his day out after hitting a 251st United goal.

Meanwhile, his fellow goal-scorer Anthony Martial is coming off for Henrik Mkhitaryan.

Burnley just can’t seem to find a way through the United cover, although Bailly has given away a free in an inviting position.

Robbie Brady will relish having a crack at this one.

Jesse Lingard is making way for Marcus Rasford.

Matthew Lowton has been issued a yellow card as we approach the final 20 minutes of the game.

George Boyd is coming off for Burnley with Johann Berg Gudmundsson coming on in his place.

Robbie Brady takes a corner for Burnley.

He floats the ball in but United deal with the situation and look to have secure lines in defence today.

SAVE!!

Pogba and Martial link up well again and the strike from Pogba has plenty of power but Heaton keeps it out.

Good work from Stephen Ward to work a turnover for Burnley.

We’re back underway for the second half at Turf Moor.

Martial has been ‘devastating’ (in a good way) for United in the first half. according to Jamie Carragher.

And there goes the half-time whistle. United seem to be surviving ok without Zlatan.

We’re into the two minutes of added time as United hold onto a 2-0 lead at Turf Moor.

MISS!!

Gray comes close but Burnley end up with a corner instead.

GOAL!

Rooney squeezes it in at the post. Pogba and Martial combine to slip the ball int Rooney’s path and despite a clearance, the ball has crossed the line.

Robbie Brady will be disappointed with that. He misdirected his header which led to the goal.

Gary Neville says it was a ‘clumsy’ challenge but that there wasn’t a lot of contact to warrant a penalty.

Rooney calls for a penalty after going down in the box but the ref is not interested. There doesn’t seem to many others protesting for it though.

On review of that Martial goal, Barton could have done better to get a tackle in before the shot was taken.

Robbie Brady floats in a free-kick but De Gea is able to gather possession with ease.

GOAL!

Anthony Martial completes a counter attack with a toe poke into the net.

Fellaini arrived late with that challenge into the back. Ref had no choice but to award a free to Burnley.

MISS!!

Rooney coming close there. He was trying to cross the ball but it dipped towards the goal and almost made it under the bar.

Good play from Burnley.

Joey Barton again central to a move down the wing, with Robbie Brady and Jeff Hendrick featuring as well. They win a corner but nothing comes of it.

SAVE!!

Fellaini gets highest to launch a free header but again, Heaton is behind it all the way.

The jury is still out on this one it seems.

SAVE!!!

Good move there from United featuring Martial, Lingard and Rooney with the final shot but Heaton was equal to it.

Good movement from Joey Barton there to set up Andre Gray but the ball is poked away.

Pogba goes down after a heavy challenge from Andre Gray

And we’re away with Burnley starting proceedings.

Both sides are out on the pitch now, with kick-off just a few minutes away.

It looks like all the United players are warming up in gear with the names of either Zlatan Ibrahimovic or Marcos Rojo on the back.

Both players suffered serious knee injuries against Anderlecht during the week.

What do we think about this?
