3 changes made by Connacht champions Galway for All-Ireland quarter-final against Cavan

Carrick-on-Shannon hosts Saturday’s minor clash.

GALWAY HAVE MADE three changes as they set to start their Electric Ireland All-Ireland minor football campaign on Saturday afternoon against Cavan.

After their Connacht final win over Sligo, Galway travel to Carrick-on-Shannon for a quarter-final tie that will throw in at 2pm.

Colin Murray comes in for the team at corner-back, Liam Costello is selected at wing-forward and Daniel Kenny is named at corner-forward.

Gavin Burke, Conor Newell and Brian Harlowe are the players to make way.

There are four survivors from the Galway side that contested last year’s All-Ireland minor final against Kerry in corner-back Eoin McFadden, full-back Seán Mulkerrin – who captains the team – wing-back Liam Boyle and midfielder Evan Murphy.
