Tired of cornflakes? Try this high-protein breakfast instead

Abs are made in the kitchen, after all.

IF BREAKFAST IS the most important meal of the day then you could do a lot worse than this five-minute omelette.

All you need is a pan, 3 tablespoons of olive oil, two eggs, half an avocado (mashed) and some sliced salmon.

Method:

  • Put three tablespoons of olive oil on a high heat.
  • Beat two eggs into a cup and when smooth pour the mixture onto a the pan.
  • Turn the heat to low once the omelette starts to bubble.
  • Drape some of the salmon onto the egg mixture and when it begins to ‘form’ turn over and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Enjoy it with your avocado on the side.

Simple.

One omelette contains roughly 11 grams of protein while adding 100 grans of salmon will double your serving of protein.
