Ireland squad tune-up for second test with skills session before cooling off at the beach

Late call-ups Ciaran Sheehan and Darren Hughes were in attendance.

ON SATURDAY IN Perth [8.45am throw-in Irish time], Ireland will attempt to overturn a 10-point deficit in the International Rules second test against Australia.

Joe Kernan’s squad had a training session earlier today in Perth’s Langley Park, before they retired to Cottesloe Beach for a recovery swim.

Late call-ups Ciaran Sheehan and Darren Hughes both took part in the day’s training, as did Enda Smith and Niall Murphy who missed the first test through illness.

Before he got on the flight Down Under, Monaghan midfielder Hughes was delivered a pair of additional team kits from jersey manufacturers O’Neills – one for himself and Sheehan.
