IRELAND WING KEITH Earls had his training load managed again today as he nursed a tight groin.
The Limerick man has been among Ireland’s more consistent performers during this campaign, but will have to wait until Thursday to take a full part in training ahead of the visit of Grand Slam-chasing England to the Aviva Stadium on Saturday.
“We’re giving him a bit of time,” said scrum coach Greg Feek, after issuing a positive report on the first-choice half-back duo Conor Murray and Jonathan Sexton.
“Johnny and Conor trained today, they got through it. Earlsy will train on Thursday. He just had a bit of tightness. Same with Tommy O’Donnell, he’s got a bit of a tight quad, bruise, so he’ll be training Thursday as well.”
