CRISTIANO RONALDO HAS donated €7,000,000 to the charity Save the Children to help in their efforts in Nepal after the earthquake which killed more than 8,000 people according to a number of reports.
The Real Madrid star is no stranger to acts of kindness having paid for €60,000 worth of treatment for a baby with cortical dysplasia last year and has worked closely with other charities before.
According to the French magazine, So Foot, the Portuguese international chose the €7 million figure because he famously wears the number seven for club and country.
Ronaldo also asked his 102 million Facebook followers to contribute to the relief effort in Nepal after a 7.8 magnitude earthquake on 25 April devastated the country.
