ANYONE WHO PLAYED football as a youngster will know the feeling when things just don’t go your way.
Occasionally, the unfortunate individual in question will go so far as to throw a strop, as was the case with the poor young lad in the video above, when he missed an open goal with literally no pressure from the opposition defenders.
The only difference between him and the rest of us is that, usually, our most embarrassing sporting moments are not uploaded on YouTube to be potentially seen by millions of people.
According to Turkish newspaper the Daily Sabah, however, the story has a happy ending, as the young footballer’s team, Kosovo’s KF 2 Korriku, still managed to beat Turkey’s Bursaspor 3-2 in the İzmir Balkan Cup — a 17-team tournament featuring 11-year-olds from a number of European countries, including Greece, Spain and Bulgaria.
