THERE WAS A dramatic finish to the Wicklow Intermediate Football Final yesterday as Arklow Geraldines-Ballymoney and Ballinacor played out a classic at Aughrim.
A late penalty appeared to have handed Ballinacor the title and with just seconds left and a two-point cushion, you’d have thought they were home and dry.
However, Arklow had other ideas and, out of nothing, conjured a winning goal to spark jubilant celebrations in the stands and the local commentator to lose his mind.
If the drama on the pitch wasn’t enough, the commentary just makes it.
