Wilfried Bony lights up the African Cup of Nations with 'elastico' nutmeg

The Ivory Coast striker’s marker won’t enjoy watching this back.

WHILE HIS NEW club Manchester City were heading for an FA Cup exit after defeat to Middlesbrough, Wilfried Bony was lining out for his native Ivory Coast this afternoon.

Having failed to beat Guinea in their opening African Cup of Nations group game, the Elephants faced Mali and although Bony didn’t get on the scoresheet, he was responsibly for one moment of brilliance with an ‘elastico’ nutmeg.
