Ospreys boosted by return of Alun Wyn Jones for semi-final showdown with Munster

The Wales captain has been out of action since March.

OSPREYS HAVE RECEIVED a huge boost ahead of their Guinness Pro12 semi-final against Munster with the news Alun Wyn Jones will be fit for Saturday’s clash at Thomond Park.

The 31-year-old second row has been sidelined with a shoulder injury since Wales’ defeat to France in the Six Nations but has been declared fit for his side’s trip to Limerick.

It was hoped Jones would be back in time for Ospreys’ final game of the regular season a fortnight ago but his return for the play-offs is a major fillip for the Welsh side.

Without Jones, Ospreys have lost five of their last six games in all competitions and head into Saturday’s game very much as the underdogs after finishing nine points off Munster in the table.
