FANS OF SPANISH football — and of the footballing genius that is Lionel Messi — might want to mark down 19 December in the calendar.

Journalist and author Guillem Balague is coming to Dublin for an intimate event to launch his latest book entitled (yup, you guessed it) “Messi.”

The night in Twisted Pepper on Middle Abbey St is “just Guillem, a microphone, the craic, and a headful of football knowledge,” according to the event blurb.

Tickets cost £11 and are available here. Because Twisted Pepper is a fairly small space, they are limited.

And no, we’ve no idea if the book is any good but we’ll be sure to let you know.
