A behind-the-scenes look at how the MOTD team reacted to England's loss to Iceland

THERE WAS PLENTY of disappointment among English people following the team’s shock 2-1 loss to Iceland at Euro 2016, and the Match of the Day studio was no exception.

A vlog posted by former England star and current BBC pundit Rio Ferdinand highlights that, behind the scenes at least, pundits are often just as passionate about their national team as fans.

The video also features some intriguing insights from Ferdinand, such as his concerns for the personal abuse inevitably set to come the way of the younger players in the wake of the embarrassing defeat.
